The seaside town of Ayr is located on the south west coast of lowland Scotland. Ayr has long been a favourite destination for those who enjoy coastal scenery, fresh seaside air, and fine views of the Firth of Clyde. The city of Glasgow lies only 35 miles to the north of the town.
